1. Replace white breads with whole grain/whole wheat.
2. Eat more lean meats (chicken, turkey, fish) instead of red meats (beef, steak, etc.).
3. Avoid fried foods as much as possible. Go for grilled or steamed foods instead.
4. Eat every 3-4 hours (this keeps your metabolism working all day).
5. Make sure to eat a good amount of protein and fiber.
6. Replace regular eggs with egg whites or egg beaters whenever possible.
7. Eat things with designated portion sizes (the more you have in front of you, the more you’ll be tempted to eat).
8. Don’t deprive yourself! Allow yourself to have the foods you love every once in a while.
9. Never skip meals!
10. Try to stick to drinking water instead of soda or other sugary beverages.
